Lagrangian Mechanics is a formulation of classical mechanics and typically taught in undergraduate physics and engineering courses on advanced dynamics. This is a calculus based approach to the physics and this video I am going to show you what the Lagrangian is and solve some Lagrangian Mechanics problems using the Euler Lagrange Equation. We initially find the Lagrangian and differentiate for the very simple system of a particle in a gravitational field, then for simple harmonic motion and then finally for a pendulum.
