334 – Giving birth at an older age in a hotel – a positive birth story from Esther
Today, Esther shares her unique birth story with her third child, having given birth later in life at the age of 42. The title already gives away where her daughter was born. How this came about and what it has to do with the decline in maternity wards in rural areas of Germany is explained in this podcast episode.
... Esther herself says she prepared for her birth better than for a wedding, which not only benefited her greatly during her pregnancy but also during labor, when she was able to surrender to the moment and fully focus – not in the delivery room as planned, but in her hotel room.
