The LINX Device 3D Animation
The Lynx device is a novel treatment for acid reflux or GERD, consisting of a ring of magnetized beads that open during food ingestion, allowing passage to the stomach, and then close to prevent harmful stomach acids and bile from damaging the esophagus. It addresses the issue of a weak lower esophageal sphincter (LES), strengthening it to restore normal function. The device is customized to fit the patient's esophagus using a specific sizing tool, providing effective control of GERD symptoms.
