🛑WHY Elementor Editor ISN'T LOADING in Wordpress with Avada and WooCommerce 2021❓❓❓🛑
Welcome Ladies and Gentlemen to Silver.International ! Last year I started work on making the website you’re seeing currently :

I’m a total noob when it comes to this area, not even intermediate but really a basic level of knowledge. Just doing things on a easy level, no programming of codes etc.
But recently I ran into an issue and I couldn’t find a quick and decent answer to the issue that I was having. So I decided to make a short troubleshooting video to help fellow content creators out.
When we open the “Elementor Editor” and want to make a new product/post/page, or edit existing ones, we’ll notice that the “Elementor Box” is marked transparent, and not working.
Items aren’t selectable, existing blocks can’t be edited and the symbol keeps on buffering or loading without ever coming up with a proper working tool box.
I did some research and you’ll find that a lot of video’s on Youtube will either tell you to :
Install an older version of Elementor (this didn’t work out for me) ;
Uncheck some fields in the Elementor Plugin, and change the Switch editor loader method, but that also didn’t work for me ;
Change bits of code here and there… well that’s nice but I’m not a programmer and I don’t want to delete any code that will mess up my website ;
Expand the memory in Wordpress thru your provider. That’s nice but it’s 3 AM in the night, I’m a total noob and I want to edit NOW !
What eventually worked out for me, was to do a trial and error in respect to plug-ins that conflicted with each other. This meant that I had to deactivate most of the plug-ins other than Elementor itself.
Then re-activate one plug-in again. Go back to the Elementor Editor and see if the box was working again. If the box was working I could let the plug-in be active together with Elementor, and continue with the next deactivated plug-in to see if that was the culprit.
In this case there’s a conflict with the “Essential addon” plug-in and after I’ve deactivated this plug-in we can see that the “Elementor Editor” is working again. Functions are selectable and the existing boxes can also be edited again.
I’ve noticed that it isn’t always the same plug-in that causes an issue, and I’m guessing this also depends on updates, newer coding conflicting with other perhaps. Not sure because I’m like said… a noob, but this for me was really a life saver after having spent half a day getting my Elementor up and running again.
Don’t forget to activate the conflicting plug-in again after making changes, because else some functions like a “slider” might not work properly on the live-website.
It would also be recommended to look into the Wordpress Memory Space, but if you want a quick work around, this is the way to go.
