Blackvue DR970x Box Plus No Noise Issue After Sunset Video - 8:30 pm - Part 5
Weird whiny/static noise present in live view and parking mode video clips. This same noise was present with the DR770x Box unit and I returned it for this same reason. What's really weird is that the noise is more of an issue during the day time and seems to diminish significantly around night time. I also went around the world on the Blackvue Live feature in the app to view other 770x Box and 970x Box units. I noticed the same noise present in those units too. I don't believe this is a cabling issue either where noise is being induced from power cables into the video signal cables. Before hooking up the 770x Box and 970x Box units in my vehicle, I connected them on my shop bench and noticed the same noise. The noise seems to be more noticeable during sun hours.
