Mac doesn't need USB drivers but, it needs adb & fastboot interface installed.
0:10 Any android phone will be rootable with this method as long as the bootloader is unlocked.
0:25 Less safe as it can end up in bootloop if you tired to install TWRP and thats why we won't talk about installing TWRP in this video.
1:20 Even if you don't know if your phone is bootloader unlockable or not, you can try the steps here for unlocking the bootloader and if it doesn't work for you for any reason then it means your phone can't be unlocked or it has a totally different process.
2:38 Here your phone should be powered on and screen should be unlocked. Also, don't forget to allow the USB debugging permission.
