Where Eiffel Fits: Part 4 - Delphi
Embarcadero's (previously Borland's) Delphi evolved from an object-oriented version of Turbo Pascal. In terms of syntax, Delphi resembles the Eiffel language more than Java or C#. Still there are many differences between the two. In this presentation we will explore some of those differences.
There have been some changes since this presentation was created. For example, Embarcadero acquired Delphi in 2008, and .Net support for Object Pascal-style languages is now in Oxygene published by RemObjects Software.
