My unpopular opinion is that I disagree with the moderators' decision to split the categories. The number of categories should be kept to a minimum, rather than a maximum. Nobody outside the community will bother to learn the nuance of each one. The split would be justified if it was no longer feasible to beat the existing WR, which was clearly not the case in this situation.
