Innovation invention has its roots in the United States (US) Constitution. Throughout our history, there are a web of factors that drive innovation, focusing on the synergistic relationship among government legislation, federal funding, patents, and entrepreneurship. US strategic government legislation shape our innovation landscape, creating incentives and frameworks that encourage research, development, and commercialization. Federal funding plays a critical role as a lifeline for innovators, providing the resources and support necessary to transform ideas into impactful solutions. Patents serve as a cornerstone of innovation by protecting intellectual property and fostering a culture of entrepreneurship. The nexus of government legislation, federal funding, innovation and entrepreneurship drive societal progress and economic growth for a better future. By recognizing and nurturing this nexus of factors, the US continues to be a global leader in innovation, pioneering advancements that shape the future and improve the lives of people around the world.
