Abstract:
When TypeScript reads your source code, it builds an internal representation of it called "Abstract Syntax Tree" 🌴, or AST. But why do we care? In this talk, we will climb up the AST and learn how to harvest its fruit. You will get familiar with the AST's internals, and see how to efficiently search and extract data from it in order to automate refactoring tasks, to answer questions about large code bases and to create smarter tools that make us, developer, even more productive.
