Hello Dolly July 1988 Kent State Trumbull Summerstock
I appear as Cornelius Hackl in this 1988 Kent Trumbull Summerstock production of Hello Dolly. Both the roles of Dolly Levi and Horace Vandergelder were double cast, with white and black actors/actresses alternating performances. The show, originally cast and directed by my late dear friend, Kent Trumbull Artistic Director Jack L. Brizzi, was taken over by choreographer Tony Romeo and Musical Director George Paulicivic when Brizzi suffered a stroke during a cameo performance on opening night of his production of Shakespeare's "Comedy of Errors."
