DOBOT CR Series Hardware and Software Setup
This tutorial shows how to set up your Dobot CR-Series Cobot. First, we set up the robot hardware include plugging in all required cables and devices. We then download and install the DobotSCStudio application from the Dobot website. To power the robot, we have to flip the switch on the back of the controller to "on" and press the power button on the front of the controller. Once you can see the Dobot network in your list of networks, select it. If prompted, enter the default password of "1234567890". If connecting over WiFi, check that your robot IP is set to "192.168.1.6". If connecting over LAN, check that your robot IP is set to "192.168.1.5". Once your network configuration is set, SCStudio should automatically detect and connect to the robot. Note that you may have to restart the application after network configuration.
