Forza Horizon 4 Crashing, Restarting PC
Specs are:
Windows 10 64bit
OS Version: 10.0.19042 N/A Build 19042
Ryzen 5 3600
MSI RX5600XT Gaming X
MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon Max WIFI
Western Digital WDC Blue SN550 SSD M.2
Seagate Barracuda 2TB
Corsair DDR4 1600 MHz 8GB x2
Seasonic S12 III 550 80 Plus Bronze
MSI Optix G271
Troubleshooting Steps Done:
Uninstall/reinstalled game
Reinstalled Windows Operating System
Installed every Mobo Software
GPU and Windows Version up to date
Game version up to date
Disabled background apps
Installed every C++
Left case open
Used Adrenaline installer to remove previous version of driver then reinstalled the driver again without Adrenalin.
Used Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU)
Went to safe mode to have drivers uninstalled
Downloaded drivers from https://www.amd.com/en/support then installed them the old way via driver signing.
Will update this as I progress with the problem
Was able to play the game a month ago with no problems but now, every time I open it it's like this.
Upon further diagnosis, I've found out that it was the GPU that's causing the problem. Had the GPU replaced to a 2060ti. (I added a little bit to reach the replacement value.) Never had any problems again after the replacement.
