This is the "White Rocks" canyon! It’s down the valley.
Steep cliffs on the west side of the canyon.
Mountain has a 50% slope on the east side.
We’re going to the canyon.
Drive through Hosta, we go to Krasnaya Volya village! At the beginning of village - turn to the left. Then we drove 3 minutes on a country road. Leave the transport and move by foot!
After this scenic area we pass 2 small caves and turn left. Go all the time down the steep serpentine. Often this path is wet and slippery. There are sometimes handrails, but they, when taken by them, fall off.
On the way down there are several benches - recreation areas.
The descent takes about 15 minutes.
The canyon itself!
And we went down into the valley of the river Hosta. And where the path meets this valley, there is the beginning of a fabulous canyon!
Height of the walls - about 30 feet.
Walk about 600 feet along the canyon.
You can descend to the water at the end of the canyon, at the font.
There, without dangerous diving from the walls and without risking, you can enter the water from the stony rock bank. Then you can swim in the opposite direction, to the beginning of the canyon.
In the middle of the path there are small waterfalls, buffalos and rapids.
Next, the same stretch of swim to the main large waterfall at the beginning of the canyon. There are much more powerful streams of water!
I went down the cliff and swam into the canyon.
Thank goodness, local crocodiles at this time of year go to the mountains))
