[S] Serpen: Enter (SCRAPPED)
This is pretty much scrapped at this point but for awhile was a work in progress animation for the comic "A Viral Medium."
The scene depicted here shows our main protagonist Serpen doing his obligatory Enter flash, solving his little entry puzzle which in this case was a rubik's cube, and taking the frog temple with him into the medium. His red blood friend Kivane is looking out for him, and once she learns he got stuck in the temple, she heads out to help him, even with the sun beginning to rise. Her Kismesis Lakria runs a bitch (twitch) channel where he often spies on her for views, something he pretends is a huge secret he holds over her for the camera, but in reality she's in on it and it's a part of their black game they play. Neasar and Vexxin are mostly unrelated to the others, being a pair of friends to each other, tho Neasar has mutual contacts with Serpen and Lakria. They are watching over Serpen as his server player(s), but the version of the game they are using is primitive and incomplete, meaning their viewportal is limited in graphics, showing only ASCII symbols. Finally there's Aamonn, the moirail of Serpen. He gets tired often and before this video he went to lay down, unaware of the situation his moirail is in. Here he briefly wakes up on Derse, but things are all wrong. The purple walls and floors are blinking in and out, going pure black as they fight to remain, while an unknown entity, the Virus now infecting the game, watches him. Kivane tries to stop the meteor coming down on the frog temple but she is knocked out on impact, badly hurt and bleeding out, while the others believe Serpen is dead, unaware he has been teleported to a new dimension.
The storyboard and animation is my work, but the actual drawn art is not done by me. The song is "Skate or Don't" by Noisemaker, used with permission.
