The Washington Capitals have become a wagon early on this season thanks to the play and production of Connor McMichael and Aliaksei Protas who have combined for 23 points so far. Another young gun making heads turn is Alex Laferriere of the LA Kings who is rocking a 27.6 shooting percentage, playing on the third line but getting top PP time.
Marco Rossi makes the list again this week but he isn't the only Wild who needs to be discussed. Jacob Middleton has quietly been one of the best players for Minnesota as he fill out the peripheral categories quite nicely, but is not chipping in offensively with 8 points so far this season.
