Mickey's Happy Holidays Cavalcade/Parade at Disney California Adventure Park - Full Parade/Show
Mickey and his friends put on a special holiday cavalcade parade twice at day at Disney California Adventure Park during the day and it is so much fun! You need to make this a must-see!!! The song is short, as is the parade, but some of your favorite characters are here! And they aren't just walking and marching, they are full out dancing their way down the street! I couldn't do some of the moves in my normal clothes, let alone dressed up in one of these character costumes! You can see Mickey Mouse & Minnie Mouse leading the parade followed by Pluto, Goofy, Clarabelle Cow, Chip, Dale, the Holiday Toy Drummers, Joy (Inside Out), Mr. Incredible, Mrs. Incredible, Frozone, Woody, Bo Peep and Jessie!
They have a very long parade route, but these characters move FAST! They dance and march from over at Paradise Gardens park along the main walkway and up to Buena Vista Street and down through Hollywood Land. I am at the main plaza walkway in between Paradise Gardens and the bridge that takes you to the Pixar Pier area and the parade only took a few minutes to reach me. It was crowded and narrow where I was standing, but I had an unobstructed view. I recommend you catch the parade on one of the ends as there were fewer people there. No one really seems to know what Mickey's Happy Holidays is as it is not labeled as a parade so most people just kind of skip it. When they hear the music and see the characters, they show up to see what is going on! I don't recommend waiting far in advance for the parade, but you will want to get into position a few minutes early. I was about 10 minutes early for this particular parade and I was so early that no one else was there waiting for it LOL!
