One of my favorite creative things to do is create surround sound files that play back in 5.1 audio. Now, anyone that knows audio knows that you need a special setup to play back the 5.1 files. The ones I'm referring to are the DOLBY .ac3 files that most DVDs use as their audio tracks for movies. In this video I show briefly how I setup SONY Vegas 10 to produce 5.1 .ac3 files. Once you get the hang of it, it's fairly straight forward. The biggest importance is that you have a 5.1 enabled sound card and surround speakers to test your creations. The demonstration of playback takes place in my living room theatre. This was a very quick glossing over of the procedure and a simple quick playback demo. I hope you enjoy.
