The Born Primitive Savage 1, TYR CXT-2 Trainer, and Adidas Dropset 3 have all been incredibly solid cross-training shoes for my workouts.
Each of these shoes has its list of pros and cons and could be argued to be the best depending on the context in which you want to use them. For example, the Savage 1 offers an excellent low-profile wide construction for CrossFit, while the TYR CXT-2 has a more built-out platform.
In this cross-training comparison, I break down where I like to use each of these shoes and discuss their major differences to know before you buy.
