Lesson 1 - Installing Expo and creating the first project - React Native + Hooks Course
In this video, I will show you how to install Expo and use it to create a new project, as well as testing our code on a device that is being emulated/simulated or on a physical device. I hope you enjoyed it!!!
When you are using Expo on your physical device, if you shake it, literally shake your device back and forth, it will recognize the movement and open the developer menu, where you can restart the application.
In the android emulator, you need to press the R key twice and the same menu will appear, containing the option to restart the app.
Remembering that the course is not a JavaScript course. In the classes, it is assumed that you are already familiar with JavaScript. If you don't know anything about JavaScript, I recommend that you learn at least the basics so that you can understand and enjoy the lessons better.
