By Fall of 2005, our pal Mike Cseck had accidentally recorded enough various songs and parodies that he decided to record a Christmas album.
Mike's choice in 2005 to deliver his rendition of the most-recorded Christmas song ever was predicated on a then-novel thought. While cautiously wishing "Happy Holidays" to everyone you see is a nice thing to say, there is nothing wrong with being specific when it comes to Christmas greetings. Christmas is an actual thing, Mike felt, so why not use that greeting when appropriate?
Another decade passed before this simple, sensible idea was co-opted and exaggerated to the point of discomfort by certain noisy advocates.
Mike's song from a bygone day sprung fully formed from a more innocent, less cynical time.
So whoever and wherever you are this year, Happy Hanukkah, Rockin' Ramadan, Kwazy Kwanzaa and Merrr-ry Christmas to one and all!
