Hiking Wisdom Tree & Hollywood Sign [FULL HIKE] - Los Angeles
On this day (January 2021), I explored/hiked the Wisdom Tree and the Hollywood Sign in Los Angeles, California. On the Cahuenga Peak, there is a pin tree at the top of the mountain, and underneath the tree, is a box with journals, letters, notes, and or object with memories being left behind. The Wisdom Tree is very unique and for others, it is also called, a Wishing Tree, Tree of Life, Magic Tree, or the Giving Tree. When one reaches to the top of the mountain, just across is the Hollywood Sign. If one is up for the task and depending on the individual, it can take another 15-30 minutes to reach the sign. It is illegal to jump the fence and get close to the sign. The restricting gates is visible with signs and is protected by security cameras and Park Rangers. In addition, the Los Angeles Police are sometimes present up on the mountain/driveway. All-in-all, it’s a great hike to do and stay safe out there.
