MY SKYDIVING JUMP HERE IN PORTUGAL, CITY OF PORTIMÃO.
Skydiving is an extreme sport that consists of jumping from an aircraft (such as a plane or helicopter) at high altitude and, during freefall, controlling the body and parachute to perform maneuvers and land safely.

During the first few seconds after the jump, the skydiver experiences freefall, feeling an intense sensation of speed and freedom. Then, at around 1,000 to 1,500 meters from the ground, they activate the main parachute, which reduces speed and allows them to steer the flight to the landing point.

The sport can be practiced in several ways:

Tandem jump: suitable for beginners, done with an experienced instructor.

Individual or sport jump: performed by certified practitioners, allowing acrobatic maneuvers.

Formation flying and wingsuit flying: modalities in which groups form figures in the air or use suits with wings to glide.

Beyond the adrenaline rush, skydiving demands technique, physical and mental preparation, as well as rigorously inspected safety equipment. It's an activity that combines emotion, freedom, and control—a unique experience of facing fear and enjoying the flight before landing.
