ANTIGO CHAMP OFF-ROAD 2024 RECAP // Speedwerx USA
Antigo @champoffroad was an up and down weekend for our Polaris RZR racers, Hudson Houle and @lucas28houle showed a lot of speed!
SATURDAY: In Youth SXS, Hudson Houle started the weekend fastest in practice. Saturday’s race started near the back of the pack but made multiple fast passes in the early laps then got into 2nd and made a push for the lead. Almost got the job done in the final corner but ultimately finishing 2nd.
Pro Am SXS, Lucas Houle started mid-pack then got into the top 10 midway thru until another car got into the back of him and damaging some parts also causing him to stall but still was able to finish the race in 20th.
SUNDAY: Hudson got off to a fast start in Youth SXS and getting into 2nd early. He drove strong, hard laps in attempt to catch the leader but kept it safe and managed the gap to finish 2nd once again! Hudson also takes over the points lead in the class again heading into Crandon!
Lucas had to start from outside the top 15 on Sunday in Pro Am SXS and got tangled with another driver off the start setting him back but he was able to put down some good laps in to finish 18th.
