My Latest Makes - July 2020
This week I've got some more lockdown dressmaking projects to share with you, which i have been wearing all the time. Nice simple, easy to sew and easy to wear they were the perfect way to distract myself when life was turned upside down. As always I've linked to the patterns and fabrics below so you can find them easily.
I made the Adrienne blouse by the Friday Pattern Company in a lovely soft, matt viscose jersey fabric. It is a great twist on the basic Tshirt with its fun, voluminous sleeves gathered into an elasticated cuff and gathered at the shoulder seams. It feels casual enough to wear every day, but a more interesting and fun than your average Tshirt pattern.
I also made my second version of the Megan Nielsen Rowan Tshirt pattern in our bold and bright John Kaldor Portia fabric. I love the vibrant blue and the floral design in popping colours works brilliantly against this backdrop. I made some sizing alterations on this version and will talk through those too.
