⛰️ WHAT TO EXPECT:
This passenger-friendly trail follows the path to the historic Saints John mining town site. Originally called Cooleville and later developed by the Boston Silver Mining Company, this area was a bustling mining operation in the 1800s. Today, you'll find remnants of that history along a beautiful mountain trail with water crossings, aspen groves, and stunning alpine scenery.
The trail is well-maintained and suitable for beginners, though high clearance is recommended. We ran it in our Jeep Wrangler with Kateryna and Lucas (our adventure pup) and had zero issues.
💡 TRAIL TRAVELER TIPS:
• Check weather before heading up - afternoon thunderstorms are common
• Bring layers - temperature drops significantly at elevation
• Trail can be combined with Webster Pass for a longer loop
• Cell service is spotty - download offline maps
