We talk about alpha (α) radiation. This radiation has a positive charge, it consists of 2 protons and 2 neutrons (HELIUM NUCLEUS). Beta (β) radiation is the one that has a negative charge, so it resembles electrons. Gamma (γ) radiation is not very energetic, but it is extremely penetrating, being able to pass through the human body.
