emily and brian met on kiawah beach. brian was working, and emily was lounging in a chair. they struck up a conversation, had a first date and many to follow. since they met on the beach, they thought it was the perfect spot to hold their wedding too. charisma by the sea on folly beach made a great back drop for their celebration. the ceremony was held in the sand between two pieces of drift wood brian found on kiawah island. their sons, isaiah and ashton, were a large part of the day and they even included family vows with their commitment to each other. after promising to love and protect each other, they filled a vessel with colored sand to represent their family coming together as one. after their ceremony on the beach, guests headed back to the house for some local craft brews in custom hippo cups and wood fired pizza by coastal crust. the night ended with smores and the strawberry full moon over the ocean.
