Why is Tempest Staff a forgotten minion?
Tempest Staff is known as the worst minion because their accurate is really bad. it's not forgotten in Pre-mech if people want fight Duke Fishron at that stage. once they reached to Pre-Golem they will throw Tempest away and use other minions such as: Deadly Sphere Staff, Desert Tiger Staff and Raven staff.
Tempest is not really popular in Pre-Golem and Post-Golem even the Pro players wouldn't even touch it.
Note: Tempest Staff is intended Post-Golem.
How does Tempest Staff works?
Tempest Staff deals a lot of damage, they are not very accurate due to slightly arcing mid-flight. They sometimes fail at hitting quick enemies. Despite this flaw, the Sharknado itself is non-solid (can pass through all blocks) and can attack enemies outside of the player's sight.
To use that you need to do minimal movements which is very hard to do. So i will not recommend to use that, use Xeno staff instead.
How does Xeno Staff works?
Despite having lower damage than the Tempest Staff , the UFO is superior to Sharknados regarding attack speed and accuracy. However, it cannot attack in all directions like the Sharknados. This is usually a problem in tight spaces but not when in open spaces.
The projectile from UFO never miss their targets (Best against quick enemies) making it the best Minion in Post-Golem.
