HRV Filter Replacement and HRV control panel reset
Join me as we carry out a HRV home ventilation system HRV filter replacement and HRV control panel reset. This video will show you the steps on how to replace an HRV filter and lastly how to reset the HRV control panel, to stop the hrv system red light flashing.
The HRV system is a positive pressure system, taking dry air from the ceiling, through a filter and through ducts into the house, as a result old air is forced out of the home.
In this video my HRV system uses the first generation galvanized box and LCD control panel. Its important to know what box type you have so that the correct air filter can be ordered.
When working in the ceiling its important to wear a dust mask and turn the HRV system off at the control panel first before starting the job.

LCD Control panel (In this video)
1. Turn panel off
2. Hold down button for 8 seconds, until 02 is displayed in the roof
3. Press up button to increase 02 to 22
4. Press power button to increase house temp from 0 to 90
5. Press function to save settings
LED Control panel (found on internet)
1. Turn off Panel
2. Hold func button down
Touch Screen
1. Goto Menu
2. Goto Page 3 of Menu
3. Select About your HRV
4. Touch HRV logo 5 times until you hear panel beeps
5. Goto installer page and select filter reset
6. Click on home to finish
