How to change and how to flush your power steering fluid
Join me in this video as I show you how to change the power steering fluid and how to flush the power steering fluid on your car. This method will help flush all that old fluid out of your power steering system and is a good DIY car maintenance skill to know.
If you don’t recall when the last time the power steering fluid has been changed or the power steering fluid is looking dark, power steering fluid that is past its used by date can cause damage to the power steering system such as hoses, gear seals and the power steering pump.
This is how I change the power steering fluid in my Mitsubishi Lancer 2005, however the principle is the same and can be applied to other cars.
