Remember playing Popeye on the Atari? Well here it is again, only this time a clever homebrew developer modified it to make it look more like the coin-op arcade classic, but on the Atari 5200! Check out this video for a play through.

In addition to enhanced controls for the Atari 5200, the game has several graphical enhancements to bring it closer in appearance to the arcade classic. It features a new title screen, as well as enhanced sprites for several of the characters and images in the game.
The Atari homebrew community is truly an amazing group of people. These folks go to painstaking efforts and work on complex code, usually by themselves, without the advantage of many of the coding design patterns and frameworks that developers enjoy in modern game development. I sincerely appreciate their efforts!
