In the previous four videos, we step-by-step built a Bluetooth LE application. Now, it's time to examine its power consumption. In this video, we will focus on optimizing the power consumption of a Bluetooth LE application and discuss tools like the Online Power Profiler, the Power Profiler Kit II (PPK2), and the Power Profiler desktop application. We will also cover some power optimization techniques for a Bluetooth LE application.

In this developer-oriented, hands-on video series, we will help you get started quickly with application development in nRF Connect SDK. nRF Connect SDK is a comprehensive, modular, and scalable software development kit for building IoT applications. Throughout the series, we will build a Bluetooth LE application step by step, starting with adding both simulated and real sensors and retrieving their data wirelessly through Bluetooth LE. We will then dive into topics such as storing data permanently on non-volatile memory, power optimization, PPK2, and finally, how to add FOTA (DFU) over Bluetooth LE.
