My Grandma's Story
My band, JM, has a song coming out this Friday, Dec 19, 2025.
I started writing it 53 years ago, when I was 16. Parts of the music later became the Killer Klowns March, though the original song’s subject was never revealed.
The song is about my grandmother, Aurora, who immigrated to the United States as a young girl and immediately began working long hours in New York garment factories under harsh conditions, while suffering abuse from adults.
This new song still carries the harmonic DNA of Killer Klowns, while venturing into more painful territory.
Linkin Park producer, Neal Avron, mixed our song.
