The people around me know that preparation for me is key. It doesn’t matter how big or small the meeting is, I’ll have taken more time than anyone else to prepare for it.
I believe that being under prepared is incredibly disrespectful, to show that I’m prepared shows that I care.
My assistant likes to joke about my preparation skills but I argue that this might be one of the biggest reasons for the success I’ve had in my life.
A part of being prepared for me is setting my goals, yes, Ill stay home on New Year’s Eve to make sure my business plan is ready for January 1st, yes I’ll stay up all night building my next goal binder because I know that if I don’t have a plan, I’ll be stuck at the level that I’m at.
