Custom Date Sort Orders in Power Pivot | Everyday Office
A common issue when using date-based information for Pivot Tables from Power Query and Power Pivot is that they won't sort based on date, but instead alphabetically. Power Pivot has a function called 'Sort by Column,' which allows any column to be sorted in the order of another column. In this video, we use this simply, as well as with more complicated functions.
