GoPro Hero 11 Mini vs Avata 2 side by side flight
Short conclusion - GoPro is much cleaner and retains a lot more details, Avata 2 is really muddy in comparison
Longer story -
I was doing some forest flying with Avata 2 and at the same time recorded a bit of "BTS" with Action 5 - just pointing to my face and recording deeply important thoughts.. But when I put footage from Action 5 and Avata 2 on the same timeline I was blown away how blurry Avata is so I basically thought I can't match them at all...
Then decided to test it more and went to Paldiski cliff - hard-mounted Hero 11 Mini on top of Avata, tried to match the angle and did a little test flight
4k50p, both on Auto, no ND. Boosted saturation a little and adjusted WB/Tint to slightly better match the footage, but honestly writing this description took more time :))
