Today I will be discussing about Date and time data type
Date and time functions in sql are used to manipulate and transform date and time data stored in tables
Date functions operate on values of the Date datatype
Some useful Date and time functions are
Date
extract the Date part of a date time expression
Datetime fsp
Stores date + time with fractional seconds (fsp)
Timestamp
stores date + time (utc)
Time fsp
Stores only time of day hh mm ss
Year
Stores a year
