Moving to St. Petersburg Russia was a Great Idea | S1 E3
Quick update, moving to St. Petersburg, Russia, was a great idea. In the last four years, from the first summer I was here, there have been noticeable positive changes in quality of life. First, I am now able to use credit cards anywhere, something I couldn’t do as easily a few years ago. Also, the amount of new fitness clubs, stores, malls, clinics, and cafes that I am seeing is a good sign that the city is modernizing rapidly.
Moreover, real estate prices remain affordable, at least from a foreigner’s perspective. There are other small details that make life better too, like bike sharing apps, and electric scooters everywhere. Life in Russia, at least in the cities, is something to look forward to.
