For the first time, three Russian Navy nuclear-powered ballistic missile submarines have simultaneously surfaced from under the Arctic ice during Umka-21 arctic exercise.

The three submarines, which are around 300m away from each other, slowly break through the 1.5m of ice near Alexandra Land, Franz Josef Land archipelago located in the Arctic Ocean.
