Cyber Kill Chain
The cost of industrial espionage in the German economy is estimated at 11.8 billion euros, and statistically speaking, every second company has been a target of hackers in recent years. An investment in the information security of one's own company is therefore indispensable.
But in order to know what measures to plan to prevent and defend against an attack, it is first important to get to know how cybercriminals operate. One strategy, which is often used, is the so-called model of the Cyber Kill Chain* according to Lockheed Martin.
In this video we explain the 7 steps of the Cyber Kill Chain:
1. Reconnaissance: Search targets
2. Weaponization: Prepare attack
3. Delivery: Start execution
4. Exploitation: Exploiting security vulnerabilities
5. Installation: Persist access
6. Command and control (CC): Extend remote control
7. Actions on objectives: Finish attack
We will also show you what countermeasures you can apply to each step.
