Followed Digital Foundry's optimization guide for Cyberpunk 2077. The results were better than I expected! If you have a Radeon card, I HIGHLY recommend you check it out, ESPECIALLY now that FSR 2.1 has been implemented into Cyberpunk 2077.

Resolution: 21:9 2560x1080p
CPU: 5800x @ 5GHz max boost
RAM: 32gb (4x8gb) Samsung B-Die 3200 CL14 @ 3800 CL16
SETTINGS SUMMARY: (Setting Name / Setting Value / Impact Summary)
Dynamic Resolution: OFF. Does not seem to work properly.
Contact Shadows: ON. MIN perf impact. LG vis impact.
Improved Facial Lighting: ON. MIN perf impact. LOW vis impact.
Local Shadow Mesh Quality : HIGH. MIN perf impact. LG vis impact.
Local Shadow Quality : HIGH. MIN perf impact. LG vis impact.
Cascaded Shadow Resolution: MEDIUM. MED perf and vis Impact. Best balance.
Cascaded Shadow Range: HIGH. MIN perf impact. LG vis impact.
Distant Shadow resolution: HIGH. MIN perf impact. LG vis impact.
Volumetric Fog: FSR Quality - HIGH; FSR Balanced - ULTRA
Volumetric Clouds: MEDIUM. MED perf impact. MIN vis impact. Any higher just looks the same.
Max Dynamic Decals: ULTRA. MIN perf impact. MED vis impact.
Screen Space Reflections: LOW. Med only if overhead is available. LG perf impact. MED vis impact. Any higher and it is better appearance/performance cost to enable RT reflections.
Sub Surface Scatter: HIGH. DF could see no major differences between settings.
SSAO: LOW. MED perf impact. MIN vis impact.
Color Precision: MEDIUM. MED perf impact. MIN vis impact. Only go to High if you notice color banding, but DF never saw any.
Mirror Quality: HIGH
LOD: HIGH. DF could see no major differences between settings.
Ray Tracing:
Reflections: ON. LG perf impact, 30% or so, but WAY better than SSR.
Sun Shadows: OFF. LG perf impact, 18% or so. Min vis impact. Only affects Sun/Moon diffuse shadows.
Local Shadows: ON. DF did not compare these so I have no performance impact data. I turned them on and could still maintain 60 FPS.
Lighting: MED. LG perf impact, 15% or so. Ultra has another 8% impact for better ambient reflections.
IF you hit a CPU bottleneck, lower these:
Crowd Density
Cascaded Shadow Range
* NOTE on Motion Blur: *IF you notice grainy FSR up-sampling artifacts in high motion sequences, Turning Motion Blur on can help diffuse this a bit and make it less noticeable. But FSR 2.1 is a big improvement over 1.0 and I have not noticed any ghosting or artifacts so far.
