By this point in the course, students have downloaded and installed WinCC V8 and SQL Server management Studio, created a relational database, learned Basic SQL Programming and VB Script database programming methods. The video is a solution to an assignment where students have learned to build screens in WinCC that interact with a SQL Server database.
Later in the course they will learn more SQL programming, reporting and using the WinCC OLEDB Provider to access Tag Logging archives.
