I’ve always been addicted to learning about whatever I can about making because the more I know, the more powerful I feel. If I can look at something complicated and say “I can make that”, then I feel empowered by understanding. I can conquer difficult problems, help myself, my family, and possibly help other people. The other benefit about learning methods of making is that it explains the universe a little bit more every time. It connects dots that I didn’t know related to each other, it helps me find meaning in the chaos, and provides me with purpose.
You can take this as deep as you want to go. If you want to know about drill sizes, ask about it. If you want to go deep into some physics or material science questions, let’s do it. If you wanna talk about movies and how they relate to real world science, I’m in.
