Update 18 apr 2024: this laser has given me readings about ~510mW with pocket LPM and without convergence lenses ~630mW, completely legitimate as advertised but it has given 700mW to others who have tested it like Brainiac75, but I am happy because this number was announced on the model.
More night shots of this high power 638nm red orangish laser and current life status after 1 year of use, there are almost no videos or photos about this lasers so I decided to make some new shots and report their current status after more than 400 days of constant use.

Status:
It currently works without problems, it never gave me any, the ''biggest thing'' was the end cap button screw that you need to turn it all until bottom and make contact but that happens with any laser, you just have to clean the surface, adjust the internal ring support a little and that's it.
The laser has never heated up, battery same, laser can be completely disassembled so I check driver with the diode and everything is normal.
This is more of a personal use situation: the lens never got dirty, every week I clean it and every time that I use when there is wind or heavy smoke, I avoid using it during precipitation to drops falling on these, laser is waterproof and has a small glass circle on its head to protect the lens but I decided to remove it to have most of the light although it did not affect anything, with my 520nm 1W I do the same, If you live in a rainy place I don't recommend remove it.
Battery performance: with the TrustFire 3400mAh lasts about 2 weeks with constant use.
In video I explain that 90% is not same as 100%, but I not recommend charging these 18650 batteries if they don't are at least in 50% because you will end their useful life by doing many cycles.
Stop using simple cheap chargers, use a decent one that gives you percentages or voltage info to check current status.
Other things that I want to mention:
The Laser burning stuff is bad, all this because of their divergence, one way to correct this is a beam expander.
It's not difficult for matches, but with a piece of cardboard it takes time, if more dark surface better.
The small stain that is seen on the lens is a product of the diode, I tried with new lens and was still there, since it arrived it has been there but is not something tedious, the camera exaggerates a lot, at first glance is not so noticeable, with just a few feet away it disappears.
The focus always misaligns a bit, you know that in front of where I am there are large pine trees at ~60m, I notice that the rectangular dot becomes more circular instead of being narrow, with just a millimetric move everything is fixed, this is generated by the rubber ring designed for waterproff stuff because when you press or move head with force it remains in a position to a few seconds, one way to fix it is move the lens thread and make some marks to have that focus reference point, without the rubber ring the head thread rotates very easily and the stable focus loses the functionality.

Now talking about what will come in the future:
I plan to buy the Laser Power Meter and 3X beam expander, later Sanwu Silver 1W 638nm, with a part time job it will be easier but nothing appears that interests me yet.
I don't plan to make a new laser review until I get the power meter to check performance.
