Koenigsegg Regera - MegaCar
Firstly seen as a concep in 2015,after being unveiled in march 2016 at Geneva Motorshow,Koenigsegg Regera is a Gran Tourer rather than a track-focused weapon like its brothers.With a 5.0 L V8 twin-turbo engine,Regera is capable of delivering up to 1500 HP and more than 2000 NM torque.Regera which means "to reign" is the only car ever produced to feature an unconventional gearbox called Direct-Drive.This gearbox has only one speed and delivers instant acceleration without any lag.This hypercar might be compared to an electric car,having the same acceleration characteristics,but it has a combustion engine.It can also be driven on E85 BioFuel which on paper can develop even more power.The engine is also helped by 3 YASA electric engine featuring a 800 volt battery pack.Only 80 units will be produced and all of them will be uniquely specified.Currently the price is about 3.000.000 € or more.
