Tyre Saving Part 1: How to drive optimally given a tyre energy constraint
Canopy is used to simulate an upper limit on tyre wear energy. The optimiser finds the driving style which achieves the quickest possible laptime. This can be used to help understand the trade-off between ultimate laptime and long run performance to help avoid tyre degradation or overheating.
