Alberto Olmedo with Tato Bores - 1986
Last week, the black man would have turned 82! Warning: This has been shared on YouTube before, but in poor quality and incomplete. You can see it for the first time in full here.
A TV classic: Tato Bores playing the role of "Uncle Josei" visits Alberto Olmedo's sketch "Borges and Alvarez." Like all Borges and Alvarez sketches, there's a lot of improvisation, and the black man Olmedo also uses some bad language (which has been omitted in this recording).
In 1986, Tato Bores was not on television and joined Carlos Perciavale in the play "La Jaula De Las Locas." What I read on Wikipedia is that a Radical Party official considered Tato's jokes inappropriate during election times and didn't renew his contract until 1989, when he returned with the support of Channel 13.
