How to create/add a user in Active Directory using PowerShell? We're going to add a user in our Marketing department of the Nantes organizational unit, all from the command line.
The video may seem long; I'm simply explaining each part of the command and its purpose in creating the Active Directory user account.
I intentionally omitted the DisplayName option so that we can see how to add an additional parameter later for our user based on their username.
We'll do everything from the command line in PowerShell, and you can choose the options that really interest you when creating your AD object/user.
