Axe in Dauntless = Great Sword in Monster Hunter
Yep, I have 400 hours of Monster Hunter Rise, and literally 15 minutes of Dauntless! Anyways, the two weapon types in these two games are VERY similar. However, I guess that the Axe is just a little more lightweight than the GS. there are always some differences, I admit.
